1. Supplier and agreement

These terms cover the BetterBuilt website and the Quartz UI plugin license. The supplier is MAXIM KOSTIN PR NOVI SAD, trading as BetterBuilt, at Mite Ruzica 2, 21101 Novi Sad, Serbia.

A purchase must identify the supplier, the licensed product and project, the applicable offer and the terms accepted with that order. If you purchase for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. Browsing this page does not grant a software license or record purchase consent.

2. Product and delivery

Quartz UI is an Unreal Engine plugin for web-based user interfaces. Early-access software can change and may contain defects. Check the product documentation and the compatibility information for the specific build before relying on it in a project.

Public checkout and downloads are not available yet. The account interface can display licenses and published builds when those services are enabled. Signing in alone does not grant access, and an empty library is not a delivery confirmation. No immediate fulfillment time is promised.

Review the Quartz UI product page and documentation. A tested baseline is not a promise of support for every engine version or platform.

3. Quartz UI project license

The project license covers one registered project, identified by a stable project ID, for commercial development and distribution of packaged games incorporating the permitted Quartz UI runtime. You retain ownership of your game, project content and original work. The supplier retains ownership of Quartz UI.

Renaming a project, creating source-control branches or making build copies does not create a new project. A separate commercial fork or spin-off needs its own license unless an approved replacement or migration is recorded. A transfer must move the existing rights without duplicating them; it is not permission to keep two licensed projects.

Your project license permits your organization’s named employees and contractors to use Quartz UI solely for the licensed project, on their work devices and on private automated build systems used for that project. There is no numerical seat, device or build-runner limit for this project license. You are responsible for their use and for removing access when their work ends. Credentials must remain individual; automated build access must use a separate authorized machine identity. This does not license other projects, allow public access to the plugin, or permit sharing buyer credentials or license keys.

Where source is supplied, project-specific modifications may be made within the license scope. Do not resell, publish or redistribute the standalone plugin, its source or reusable binaries, or share buyer credentials and license keys. Packaged-game distribution does not grant recipients the right to extract and reuse the plugin.

Epic’s terms and applicable third-party and open-source licenses continue to govern their respective materials. This license does not replace those permissions or restrict rights those licenses independently grant.

4. Prices and payment

For orders processed through Lemon Squeezy, Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record and authorized reseller. The supplier provides the software license. Review Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms for the payment transaction.

The offer and checkout must identify the price, currency, applicable taxes and final total before payment. The current website offer is one-time early access; these terms do not introduce a subscription. No price is fixed by this document. A payment redirect alone does not establish an entitlement.

5. Refunds and payment disputes

You may request a full refund for any reason within 14 calendar days after purchase by emailing contact@betterbuilt.games with your order reference. This is our voluntary refund policy. After that period, contact us about non-delivery, defects or other purchase problems so the appropriate remedy can be provided. The 14-day period does not limit any statutory withdrawal, refund or other remedy available to you. For orders processed by Lemon Squeezy, refunds are handled through Lemon Squeezy; you may also use the support route on your receipt. Processing and bank settlement times may vary.

Lemon Squeezy retains its own refund discretion under its buyer terms and refund rules. Its discretionary refund period is not an unconditional customer refund guarantee.

Under this license, a full refund ends future download, license-refresh, authoring and new-build rights for the refunded license. A partial refund does not remove rights unless it refunds a specific order line or quantity. A chargeback may suspend future access while the dispute is resolved, with recovery available when entitlement is restored.

These rules define license rights; they do not imply that activation, enforcement or recovery tools are currently available. Offline authorization cannot be revoked instantaneously. Recovery must not damage project files, and already packaged games must not depend on end-player login or licensing-network checks.

Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer remedies or withdrawal rights. Any applicable exception for immediate digital delivery requires the legally required consent, acknowledgement and confirmation; this page does not collect them.

6. Updates and support

Perpetual-version rights and update eligibility are distinct. Under this license, rights to use versions released during an active update entitlement survive the end of that update entitlement, subject to the license and refund rules. This does not promise lifetime updates or access to every future release.

The one-time project purchase includes 12 months of access to Quartz UI updates released during that period and email support at contact@betterbuilt.games, starting on the purchase date. You may continue using versions obtained under your update entitlement for the licensed project after that period, subject to these license terms. Email support covers installation, licensing and reproducible product problems on documented supported configurations; it does not include custom development or a guaranteed response or resolution time. We do not promise a release schedule, particular future feature, or compatibility with every future engine version. No automatic renewal is created. Statutory obligations, including any required remedies or updates, remain unaffected.

7. Responsibilities and remedies

Keep account details accurate and credentials private. Use the service lawfully; do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other customers or distribute materials you lack permission to use.

Access restrictions should address the affected rights and provide a clear explanation and recovery route. Licensing checks must not delete, corrupt or rewrite your project. Loss of connectivity must not be represented as proof that a valid customer is unlicensed.

Early-access software may contain defects or change during development. This does not remove our obligations under the agreed product description or applicable law. These terms do not exclude or limit liability, warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Contact contact@betterbuilt.games about a dispute; this does not prevent you from using any court, regulator or dispute-resolution route available under applicable law. These supplier terms do not select an exclusive court or impose mandatory arbitration.

Material changes must identify a new version and effective date and be communicated where required. A later website revision must not silently remove rights already granted under an earlier purchase.
